How vets treat it

Prompt removal of the product by bathing the animal with a liquid dish soap (e.g., Dawn, Joy, Palmolive) to remove the greasy substance; seek immediate veterinary care.

Why it's dangerous

These substances are derived from Chrysanthemum flowers or synthetic versions that act as neurotoxins, causing overstimulation of the nervous system in sensitive species.
